A home away from home in Edinburgh we found at Mimi’s place. It is located on Warrender Park Terrace Road, which overlooks The Meadows, giving you a beautiful view of the city. It is also in close proximity to Edinburgh Castle, making it easy to visit the historic site.
The house itself has plenty of amenities and features that make it an ideal stay. There is a garden backyard that allows you to take in some fresh air and enjoy the scenery.
How to arrive at Mimi’s place
The location is an easy find from The Meadows in Edinburgh – which is a big play park. To get there, start by taking the A700 and heading towards Marchmont Road. Once you reach Marchmont Road, take a right onto Warrender Park Terrace and keep going until you reach your destination.

This cosy and modern apartment is the perfect getaway for couples or small families. It features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private garden, and a kitchen with all the cookware and cutleries you will need. To top it off, there is a DVD player so you can watch your favourite movies during your stay.

It also has a study with lots of books and printing facilities, which came in handy when we lost our passports and needed to print all documents for submission at the embassy. The host was extremely cooperative, and even let us stay longer than our original reservation. We felt like we were part of the family during our stay at Mimi’s place.
