BEST TIME TO VISIT

Singapore is a year round destination with mild temperatures throughout. It has a tropical climate with high humidity. The best time to visit Singapore is during the months of February to April, when the weather is generally dry and pleasant, and the city is abuzz with various festivals and events. Another good time to visit is from August to October when there are fewer crowds, and hotel rates are relatively lower. It is best to avoid the peak months (December to February) when tourists flock the city, as well as during Chinese New Year.

GETTING AROUND SINGAPORE

Singapore has an excellent transportation system and it is very easy and convenient getting around the city. For getting around quickly and easily, the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) and bus system are the best and cheapest options. A Singapore Tourist Pass, an EZ link card can be purchased for convenience, allowing you access to public transport without having to purchase separate tickets and travel unlimited for one, two or three days. Taxis offer a convenient and comfortable way of travelling around the city, although they can be more expensive than other forms of transport. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly way to explore the city, bicycles are readily available around the city.

WHERE TO STAY IN SINGAPORE?

Singapore is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, and with so many options for accommodation, it can be hard to decide where to stay. Depending on your budget, there are a range of options available for luxury or mid range accommodation. We suggest staying at one hotel for the entire trip.

Two of the great mid-range options where we have stayed is the Grand Copthorne Waterfront and Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay. Both have comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast spread. Also, located quite in the Centre provides good access to public transport and the attractions as well.
